A tenant feeling a mite irritated has issued a writ demanding his landlord give him hotel accommodation because his home is infested with white ants.

Fung Hon-kwong claims he has to spend one or two hours every night spraying flying termites at his Mei Foo Sun Chuen home.

'I fear . . . the termites may harm my family, especially the children,' he says in the writ.

He names Pang Chak-tong and Cecilia Chu Wai-see in the High Court writ.

Mr Pang is described as the landlord's representative. Ms Chu's role is not specified.

Mr Fung is suing for refund of rent paid and demanding immediate action to kill the termites.
