HEAVY voting pushed three favourites into the final of the ''My Favourite Song'' competition, organised by Commercial Radio 2.

The three finalists - Leon Lai Ming's ''Wish You Wouldn't Leave Me Tonight'', Andy Lau Tak-wah's ''Thank You For Your Love'', and Jacky Cheung Hok-yau's ''You Are The Only Legend in My Life'' - were announced at the Ultimate 903 variety show, held recently at the Hongkong Coliseum.

These three landed the most number of votes out of a total of 12,000.

The other singers to be nominated included Anthony Lun Wing-leung, Andy Hui Chee-on, Cass Pang Ling, Sandy Lam Yik-lin, Alex To Tak-wai and Faye Wong Ching-man.

All the stars performed their nominated songs at the show.

The two-part entertainment included a preview of Commercial Radio 2's new programme line-up, as well as a string of lively games hosted by the station's disc jockeys. The audience was invited to choose the winners in the games.

Excitement ran high at the Coliseum that night, with contest fever and showbiz thrills combining to give the audience a great evening's worth of entertainment.
