Two hikers died yesterday as temperatures reached up to 36 degrees Celsius. The two men, aged 31 and 38, were believed to have suffered heatstroke. The younger man had been hiking on the MacLehose trail in Sai Kung and the older man in Tai Po. Six other hikers were in hospital, one in critical condition, suffering symptoms of heatstroke.
