Still waiting for final episode

Since ATV World changed its programme format, Pearl has been reducing its number of popular US sitcoms.

I am not sure if Pearl is going to show Friends, Seinfeld, Veronica's Closet, The Nanny and Frasier anymore (Frasier has been off the air for more than a year).

Currently, we only have two funny sitcoms on Pearl, Suddenly Susan and The Drew Carey Show. (Boys Meet World is for teenagers only.) With the final episode of Mad About You already shown, there are not many choices left.

That brings us to Home Improvement. This has been one of the longest-running sitcoms on Pearl.

Last month Pearl was supposed to show the final episode. However, someone messed up. Instead of showing the last episode, the station showed Behind The Scenes Of Home Improvement.

It is customary in the US to show a 'Behind The Scenes' show before a sitcom's final episode. Pearl showed the former but not the latter.

So what happened to the Taylor family? Did they move to Indiana or stay in Detroit and did Tim get his show back? Pearl has already withdrawn or stopped many of its sitcoms.

Shouldn't it be decent enough to acknowledge its mistake and show the 'real' final episode of Home Improvement? This year Star World and ATV World have been providing their viewers with entertaining shows such as Ally McBeal, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, The Simpsons, Bob And Margaret, David Letterman, 3rd Rock From The Sun, Caroline In The City and Dharma And Greg (unfortunately, the last three are reruns).

The least that Pearl can do is to continue showing its top sitcoms, not to mention the final episode of Home Improvement. There are too many non-English shows and horse-racing on Pearl nowadays.
