Royal Dutch/Shell up 12pc
LONDON: Royal Dutch/Shell Group says current cost profit rose an annual 12 per cent in the first quarter of 1993 as earnings from oil and gas production and refining were boosted by sterling's decline against the dollar.
The world's largest oil company said first-quarter current cost profit had risen to GBP971 million (about HK$11.55 billion) from GBP864 million a year earlier.
