The trial of a former apprentice jockey accused of race-fixing is due to open today at Western Court.

The ICAC accuses Ho Wah-lun, 24, of race-fixing in October 1995 by twice offering advantages of $10,000 to Keith Kwok Ting, 24.

The money is alleged to have been offered as an inducement not to win two races at Sha Tin when Kwok was riding Everbright and Adamant. Ho has denied two charges of bribery.
