Airlines remained confident yesterday that the Haeco dispute will not affect their operations.

There have been no delays or operational problems with arrivals and departures, according to airlines and the Airport Authority.

Cathay Pacific has said passengers should not experience any problems.

Yesterday, a Dragonair spokesman said the airline hoped for a quick resolution of the dispute, and that it had not affected services.

The airline operates about 45 flights to and from Hong Kong a day.

The spokesman declined to say whether there would be problems if the row flared again.

The strike had not disrupted services, said Australia's Ansett Airlines.

'We haven't had any delays,' a spokesman said.
