Meet draws 200 competitors

More than 200 athletes competed in 74 events at Lai King Catholic Secondary School's 18th athletics meet.


Sixth former Leung Hin-lun captured the boys' Grade A championship. The young athlete won golds in the 100 metres and 200 m and a silver in shot put. Yu Chi-wai outperformed other boys in his grade again this year by grabbing the Grade B championship. The all-round athlete won the 100 m, long jump and shot put.


Girls' Grade A champion Pong Yu-moon won golds in javelin and shot put and a bronze in the 800 m. The girls' Grade C championship went to Ko Yee-ting, who was the champion in the 800 m, 400 m and high jump competitions.
