I HAVE two children aged three and six; they love going into toy shops and choosing toys for themselves and as presents for others.

As an ''expat wife'' I am fortunate enough to have a generous disposable income and, until last Monday afternoon, have been happy to indulge my childrens' wishes. After the Bangkok toy factory fire I will not be able to look at a toy without wondering about the conditions of the workers who made it. I will not buy toys which I suspect come from an environment like the Bangkok factory and will encourage others to do the same.
