Flowers and food were on offer at the opening of Chateau des Fleurs, a florist-cafe-gift shop in Happy Valley, where socialites gathered to admire the garden-like set-up and see how most of the plants were cultivated using a hydroponic system. Guests sipped coffee and ate sandwiches, while some enrolled for flower-arranging classes. And instead of congratulatory flowers, the owners asked well-wishers to send donations to the End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation and the Sheen Hok Charitable Foundation.
