Eight men and a woman were charged in connection with violence during a land-resumption operation in Shek Wu San Tsuen, Sheung Shui, on November 16.

The nine will appear in Fanling Court on Monday. They were among 14 people arrested. Police said the remaining five - three men and two women, aged between 39 and 70 - had been released.
