More than 100 prospective buyers have been registered for the sale of 46 flats at The Waterfront development at Kowloon Station.

A spokesman for project manager USI Holdings said the developers were satisfied with the figure after the three-day registration period ended yesterday.

The sale is on Sunday.

The first batch includes 18 units of 833 square feet to 1,480 sq ft in blocks six and seven at an average price of $5,728 per square foot.

The 28 flats in the second batch, of 1,168 sq ft to 1,480 sq ft also in blocks six and seven, are priced at an average of $5,838 per square foot.

Agents said the registration result was not exciting but the response was better than expected.

Andy Wong, sales manager of Centaline Property Agency, said the result was good considering each unit of The Waterfront would cost at least $6 million.

The developer had sold 150 units by private sale immediately before the registration for public sale started.

Mr Wong said the 150 units represented about $1 billion worth of properties.

The project is being developed by a consortium led by Wing Tai Group.
