Robbers steal store's security video

Police suspect robbers who raided a Tsuen Wan convenience store last week raided a second shop yesterday and took away the closed circuit television videotape that might incriminate them.

Four men entered the 7-Eleven store on the ground floor at Chik Fai Street, Tai Wai, just after 4am and threatened two female staff with paper cutters. They took the staff to the storeroom, where they were bound, gagged and locked in.

The gang stole two gold bracelets from the victims, grabbed between $2,000 and $3,000 from the cash register and several packs of cigarettes before fleeing with the videotape.

The employees freed themselves and called police.

Four men escaped with $600 and food from a 7-Eleven store in Riviera Gardens, Tsuen Wan, last Wednesday.
