Vice-Premier Qian Qichen said the recent mania in Hong Kong for Internet shares showed there were some elements of a bubble economy.


'Too much speculation will make it into a bubble,' he said.


But he was optimistic there would be no great impact at the moment.


There is no need to introduce an anti-monopoly law, Chief Executive Tung Chee-hwa said yesterday, also speaking in Beijing on the edges of the NPC meeting.
