Serb escapes as troops attacked

Pristina, Yugoslavia: A Serbian man arrested by US and Polish peacekeeping troops escaped custody after a mob attacked the soldiers, injuring 13 of them.


The man, arrested on Tuesday after troops from the Nato-led force KFOR found two handgrenades in his home in the southern village of Sevce, escaped as about 150 Serbs attacked the troops when they left the house.
