Residents ignore animal rules

In many housing estates in Hong Kong people are not allowed to keep pets.

In spite of this, some tenants do keep cats and dogs in their flats. Not only are they breaking the rules, but they also disturb their neighbours.

It is especially bad at night if a dog is barking and keeping residents awake.

Some tenants are so irresponsible that they just let their dogs roam the streets, which scares some pedestrians. Also, these dogs leave a mess on the streets and their owners do not clean it up.

I wish these dog owners would abide by the rules.
