Computers cannot replace books for improving English skills
Reading English books is a good way to improve language skills. We should read more, speak more and listen more.
Hong Kong people learn English at kindergarten. But our education system makes us exam- orientated. Many people have tutorial lessons which teach them ways to achieve good results.
People who get good grades may not be really good at English. They may just know the techniques of getting good grades.
Reading English books can really help us learn more about usage and vocabulary. It also makes us more open-minded.
Computers are very popular nowadays. We can use them to get information and communicate through the Internet.
However, computers cannot replace books.
All the information we get from the Internet is like notes. We will not read it after we use it. It is only a tool.
