Mainland gas venture for CKI

Cheung Kong Infrastructure (Holdings) (CKI) has formed a 240 million yuan (about HK$224.52 million) joint venture to run a mainland liquified petroleum gas (LPG) business. CKI has taken a majority 51 per cent stake, while mainland partners Liaoning Petroleum Industrial and Shenyang Road Main Hub Group have holdings of 25 per cent and 24 per cent respectively. The first phase of the project will see the building of four LPG filling stations and a LPG vehicle conversion plant in Shenyang.
