A dip with the dolphins

Mike Currie
Dolphin and whale watching has become big business, with an estimated five million people from 65 countries joining trips last year. Guam has now launched short tours to watch spinner dolphins at play and some offer the chance to swim and snorkel with them. Tours range in size from small groups to as many as 60. Melon head whales can also be seen. The tours use vessels approved by the US Coast Guard. Contact Guam Visitors Bureau in Hong Kong at 2522 1386, fax 2522 0772.
