Johannesburg: South African soccer league officials are to meet to discuss match-fixing allegations that threaten the country's bid to host the World Cup finals in 2006.

Among the claims are that First Division club City Sharks were paid 7,000 rand (US$1,060) to throw a game against Dynamos, a team fighting for promotion to the country's professional Premier League.
