At about 12.30pm on Sunday, May 14, I was treated to an example of courtesy and kindness by the driver on the Citybus number 11 route.
A lady, having already alighted from the bus, slipped and fell as a result of stumbling on the pavement. The driver immediately held the bus and rushed to the assistance of the lady, helping her up, finding something for her to sit on while she recovered, giving her comforting words in her distress, and finally assisting her across the road.
I thought the caring attitude of the driver deserved special mention and Citybus also deserved to feel some satisfaction, of having such kindly staff among their employees.
