Millennium fits TT bill

Millennium Supreme looks a standout banker in the second leg of tomorrow night's Sha Tin Triple Trio which features an interesting $16 million jackpot.

There aren't many, if any, jurisdictions where such a carry forward would be described as no more than interesting but such is the TT that a $16 million jackpot is just that, enough to spark the interest.

Millennium Supreme, an International Sale purchase by champion trainer elect Tony Cruz, has improved for each of his three runs.

Last time only the slowish tempo beat him when he ran on gamely to be a head second to the progressive Meridian Star. A more solid pace appears likely in tomorrow night's fourth event and that should see him comfortably into the placings.

The pace should also help Arriba-Arriba get home strongly. He was hampered in running last time. Shadeyiev was ridden too forward last time on a biased track at the Valley. He can improve.

Red In Green is in good form, while down at the bottom of the weights watch out for a much improved effort from the Tony Millard-trained Topspin Too. He's had a couple of runs at sprint trips and should relish the move up to a mile. His recent work has been good.

Eternal Fun looks another standout banker in the third event, which opens the TT. He lost little in defeat last time when second to Heavy Weapon.

Accuracy goes well at Sha Tin and should love the move back up to a mile. He's another top chance. The trip looks on the short side for Hidden Talent but he's been going through his work with great gusto. Sight First is back in the right race but has been off the scene for some time and could just need it. Botany Bay has worked as if poised to return to form, while Star Dragon should like the move up in distance.

Bull's Eye is yet another who jumps off the page as banker material in the TT's final leg, the sixth event. He would have beaten Solid Contact at the Valley last time but lost ground having to switch out for a run off the top bend. Outside of him it is a very competitive event with Made To Figure, Danzighill, Sweetheart, New Trumps, Brilliant Way and Happy Momentum maybe the best of the others.
