Five hikers were rescued after being trapped overnight in thunderstorms on a Lantau hilltop.

The four men and a woman, all in their 20s, set off from Tung Chung at noon on Sunday heading for Lin Fa Shan. A helicopter search was launched at 8pm after one hiker called police by mobile phone to say they were lost. They were found at 4am.
