Hong Kong has experienced its coldest three days for this time of year since 1886. An Observatory spokesman said that between June 12 and 14 the mean minimum temperature was an 'unseasonably cool' 22 degrees Celsius. In 1886 - a year after records began - it fell to 21.9 degrees. The normal mean temperature for this period is 25.7 degrees Celsius.
