Winner walking on air after scooping top prize

HIGH-FLYING marketing manager Johnny Liu Sai-bun plans to use the free Asia Miles he has scooped in the Post's Five Million Miles Bonanza mega-draw to unite his family.

Mr Liu said: 'I never thought of hitting the jackpot, and I won't believe it's real until I sign for the prize.' A Post subscriber, Mr Liu, 41, started reading the paper in Secondary One at school.

'I tried participating in the lucky draw because of the encouragement from my family. They prepared everything, I was only responsible for sending the entry in,' he said.

He was delighted when he was told that he could enjoy two million miles.

'My three children are studying abroad, and usually they come back to Hong Kong only once a year to join the family. However, winning the draw will provide a good opportunity for the family to unite.' He is now planning to join his children in Australia and New Zealand this summer: 'We may plan a trip to France or the United States, too.

'But since things have come all of a sudden, I need more time to plan.' Mr Liu also wants to share his good luck with others: 'I am considering doing charity work in the hope it may bring luck to others.'
