Soccer player arrested after crashing into lorry

Instant-Dict soccer player Tam Siu-wai, 30, was arrested for alleged drink-driving after his car rammed into the back of a lorry in Mongkok.

The vehicle spun out of control and hit the parked lorry in Boundary Street near the junction with Tai Hang Tung Road. No one was injured. Tam failed a breathalyser test and was arrested. He was released on $2,000 bail and $4,000 surety and was ordered to report back to police on July 23.
