I refer to the report headlined, 'Harrods takes pride of place in revamped Seibu food hall' (Business Post, August 15).


This store will be a combination of sit-down dining experiences, the best fresh food from around the world, and a choice of selected international food brands. One of these brands will indeed be Harrods.


While it makes a good headline, the description that the Harrods section 'takes pride of place' in our store is misleading. Proud through we are to be bringing the Harrods brand to Hong Kong, it will be just one feature of our store and will occupy less than two per cent of the available space.


It is also misleading for the headline to say, 'revamped Seibu food hall'. Actually, our store has no connection with Seibu other than being located underneath it.


Our store will stand as a brand in its own right, entirely separate from Seibu. The name of our new store will be revealed at a later date.
