Ironic twist to tycoon's threat

One of our wealthiest citizens has laid a public warning on the likelihood of withdrawing local investments while maintaining his love for the city. This is ironic and humiliating, because even the most stupid man on earth would not invest in a place with no economic prospects, no matter how 'politically calm' the society is.

Furthermore we do not see Bill Gates moving Microsoft out of his country amid seemingly unfair treatment from his government.

What we are seeing here with regard to the unravelling of scandals, whether political or not, is characteristic of a civilised and democratic society.

We must not take this as a form of 'cultural revolutionary' behaviour if we care for our community's interests.
