Give hidden treasure greater prominence
I was at the airport recently and noticed a kiosk sponsored by the Social Welfare Department selling handicrafts made by handicapped or needy people.
What a great idea, but what a pity that it is located in an obscure corner in the departures hall that receives very little foot traffic.
I am sure that many foreign tourists would like to support such a worthy cause, if only they knew about it. Might I suggest that the Airport Authority relocates the kiosk closer to the other concessions?
Its products would not compete with theirs and greater visibility would help promote the image of Hong Kong.
