Health service for students

The Department of Health has reminded parents of primary and secondary school students to enrol their children in the 2000-01 Student Health Service.

The free annual service promotes the physical and psychological health of students.

Invitation letters together with enrolment forms have been sent via schools to parents of primary and secondary school students.

Each enrolled student will be given an appointment at a Student Health Service Centre to attend a series of health assessment and health education programmes designed to cater for students' health needs at various stages of growth.

The health assessment programmes will include physical examinations, screening for health problems, counselling and health education.
