AS a student in Hongkong, you likely focus your attention on your academic success. But regardless of how you perform, some students will ultimately do better in life than others.
Why? Most of us underestimate our hidden resources; resources that, when properly recognised, can help us make the most of academic talents and bring success in our work and relationships? The Dale Carnegie Course has helped people discover and develop these hidden resources.
Now, a Dale Carnegie Youth Course, specially designed for teenagers, will be held in Hongkong again this summer. It will focus on developing self-confidence, positive thinking, effective speaking skills, enthusiasm, better relations and controlling stress and worry in an interactive, fun environment.
''The course taught me to never give up and to have a positive attitude,'' said Stefanie Gutwirth of Island School.
Damian Kwok of Wah Yan College, said: ''Since taking the course, I have developed more self-confidence and better communication skills.'' For a chance to win a free place on the Dale Carnegie Youth Course, see the competition on this page.
