Only eight per cent of Hong Kong people would quit their jobs immediately if they won US$1 million (HK$7.8 million) on the lottery, a survey has found. Almost 5,500 people from 13 countries in the Asia-Pacific region were asked how they would spend the money in the Mastercard Asian Ideal survey. A total of 47 per cent of SAR respondents would travel and the same percentage would buy a house.
