Cruising Hong Kong in the poor man's limousine, the humble taxi, the cabbie has a different perspective on the cityscape to the rest of us ... and it's not always one of skyscrapers, Wan Chai flyovers or ranks of Toyotas awaiting ferries from the outlying islands. There's often the back end of a bus to look at in quieter moments, or a cuddly toy to keep him company. And when he fancies a break, he can always decorate his windscreen with the sign that says you're in an appalling rush: Out of Service.
