Clarification

THE edited version of my letter (South China Morning Post, June 8) unfortunately did lose some of the sense of what I was saying. It should have said: ''The booklet (Save the Earth, Save Money) says 'Use Less Paper', but the text is printed triple - and quadruple-spaced, occupying at least 3 times more space than necessary. In addition, more than half of the entire booklet is blank. The whole thing could have been done on just two sheets of lightweight, unbleached, recycled paper.'' The Government's waste in the name of conservation should now be a little clearer.
