Customs arrested two men, aged 45 and 66, and seized 19 bottles of counterfeit brandy at a fake liquor manufacturing centre in Lai Chi Kok. The fakes were a mix of cheaper brandy, ethyl alcohol and colouring poured into genuine brand bottles. About 80 empty brandy bottles, 100 boxes, false labels, cork stoppers, colouring substances and other utensils estimated to be worth about $6,000 were seized.
