Scholarship to Canadian university

THE University of Hongkong and Canada's Concordia University have renewed their collaboration to provide a scholarship, with the sponsorship of Canadian Airlines International, to one of the students of the University of Hongkong. The winner will study English at the Intensive Language Centre of Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.


The winner is Yeung Yeuk-lan, an Arts Faculty student of the University of Hongkong. She was chosen from a number of candidates shortlisted by the University of Hongkong's English Centre.


The winning candidate will be flown to Montreal, courtesy of Canadian Airlines International, and have the opportunity to study with students from 55 other countries and experience Quebec's rich culture and exciting life in Montreal.


The ongoing scholarship, to be offered each summer to a successful candidate studying at the University of Hongkong, is worth around HK$40,000.
