THE Torch building complex, a massive development including residential, commercial, shopping and hotel properties will be built soon in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province.

Greater metropolitan Wuhan includes three cities: Hankow, Hanyang and Wuchang.

Major tenants of the office tower will include the administrative headquarters of the East Lake Hi-tech Development Zone and related government offices.

The 33-storey office tower will be capped by restaurants, karaoke clubs and discos, all with panoramic views of the city.

Space age cladding and special reflective curtain walls are designed to reinforce the torch concept, symbol of light, progress and development.

The landmark structures will form part of the new image of greater Wuhan, which is earning the nickname, the 'Chicago' of China.
