The long-awaited office for the SAR's National People's Congress deputies will open in spring, enabling it to take an active role in serving the public, a local deputy has said. A mainland official has been posted to Hong Kong to man the office's secretariat, which provides support for the 36 local deputies in dealing with local affairs.
