A record number of flight movements at the airport is expected on January 24, Lunar New Year's Day, when 649 aircraft are scheduled for arrival and departure. The current record is 623 flights on April 21, Good Friday, last year. The Civil Aviation Department said the Lunar New Year's Day movements was an increase of more than 22 per cent from the average of 530 a day.
