It is said that youngsters, nowadays, are too weak to face the harsh realities of life. They are weak because they lack character.
Some youngsters lack self-confidence. They keep telling themselves, 'I'm a loser.' They do not believe in their ability to tackle the problems they face.
Being over-protected at a younger age is one of the reasons for this condition. Some parents help their children to solve all the problems. Not being used to sorting things out by themselves, the children lack the ability to do so when they grow up. Moreover, the youths, in general, have not experienced great adversity. Therefore, they lack the strength to face the ups and downs of life.
Some youths, however, simply lack an aim in life. Some even take the easy way out - ending their lives.
