Suspect arrested after note found at blast scene
A man was arrested after he allegedly blew up a floor of a government building - another in a recent spate of blasts across the country.
According to the Legal Daily, Wang Lin, from Qiqihar, Heilongjiang province, set off explosives he hid on the 10th floor of the city's telecommunication building on March 12. The explosion injured one passerby and damaged three cars.
Police found a note near the explosion demanding the Government resolve a housing dispute within 15 days. The note led the police to Wang, who was arrested four days later.
In a separate incident in Guangdong, a jealous husband blew up his wife's alleged lover, three others and himself.
The semi-official China News Service reported yesterday that the suicide bomber, Mou Lishou, 35, detonated explosives strapped to his body in the house of Mou Limei on Sunday afternoon.
Mou entered the home in Caotouping village, Sanjiang county, while Mou Limei, 49, his two sons and a friend were eating and detonated the bomb, killing all five instantly. It was unclear if the two men were related.
Mou Lishou began accusing Mou Limei of having an affair with his wife in early January, prompting his wife to leave him, the report said.
