Partners part post haste
WELL, well. The usually accessible Ted Marr was proving rather elusive yesterday, and for good reason too, it seems.
Word is that lawyer Ted has parted company with his partners at Clyde & Co, the firm of solicitors based in Citibank Plaza, Central.
All calls to Ted at the firm were fielded by one of the partners, Richard Tanner.
''Ted Marr no longer works here. I suggest you try him at home,'' he told us, adding that they regarded the split as a private matter.
When we called Ted at his Mid-Levels home, an answering machine informed us that he was out and suggested we tried him at the office - Clyde & Co.
Which seems to suggest that the parting of the ways was indeed hurried.
