A driver was killed and his wife seriously injured when they were thrown from their lorry in a crash in Tai Po. The 5.5-tonne lorry ran out of control in Bride's Pool Road, mowed down a tree and dropped down a three-metre slope. Driver Lee Kam-wing, 32, and his 28-year-old wife were hurled through the windscreen. The lorry was made in 1989 and was not required to have seat belts.
