Delta Air Lines and Delta Express, Delta's low-fare airline, have introduced spring sale fares for travel to worldwide destinations, including Asia, available until May 11. Return travel to Asia must begin by June 30. An example of the return trip discount fares is New York-Tokyo US$544. Passengers who buy the sale fares through Delta's Web site will receive an extra 10 per cent off each round-trip buy and are eligible for up to 7,500 bonus miles.

Bass bonus

Bass hotels has relaunched its Business Options programme at Inter-Continental and Crowne Plaza hotels in the Middle East and Africa. Business travellers can enjoy double occupancy at preferential single business rates, Priority Club points, and one of four choices: upgrade to more exclusive room, 500 bonus frequent flyer miles or 2,000 bonus Priority Club points, breakfast for two each morning, or two weekend nights at 50 per cent off the Business Options rate with a weeknight stay.

United celebration

United Airlines is celebrating 75 years of flying by offering Internet-only special deals from the United States to international destinations, including those in Asia. The sale requires a seven-day advance buy period for international travel, as well as a Saturday night stay. Bookings are available until today. All travel must be complete by June 14.
