A man who was refused a job as a fireman because of his elder sister's mental illness is suing the Fire Services Department, a District Court writ says. The Secretary for Justice was named as the defendant on behalf of the department in the writ filed by Tsang Wai-yuen, who claimed he had suffered unlawful discrimination under the Disability Discrimination Ordinance.
