Man of the moment Riccardo Tisci's dark, sensual designs for Givenchy come straight from the heart, writes Jing Zhang.
I refer to the report headlined 'Beck joins Scientologists' (South China Morning Post, May 1).
I am disappointed in articles which gossip and are inaccurate. A case in point: religion is clearly not an issue in the break-up of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise, as their publicists clearly stated.
Scientologists raise their children as happy, healthy and well-cared-for individuals who can learn and are drug-free. People of all faiths want the same for their children, so there is no conflict there.
Scientology attracts people from all walks of life - administrators, artists, teachers, housewives, doctors, sports people and celebrities.
Why? Because it gives them the secret to real happiness in life and answers the questions of life, such as who am I, where did I come from, and most importantly, where am I going and what happens after death? Scientology literally means 'knowing how to know' and is a practical, applied religious philosophy which has no belief but offers a path to spiritual freedom.
