Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEx) is investigating the cause of an interruption of connections to Hong Kong Futures Automated Trading System from 48 futures exchange participants for a duration of 20 minutes at 10.20am yesterday. After re-logging on to the system as instructed by HKEx staff, who had opened a backup centre at Citibank Plaza, all affected participants successfully reestablished connections with the system by 11am.
