Booths add colour to open day

Numerous fascinating booths attracted great attention at the annual open day of Chiu Lut Sau Memorial Secondary School.

Highlights included a warmly applauded performance by the school band and a computerised demonstration by the school's computer club.

The English club created a fabulous counter to introduce self-access learning.

The school's well-equipped self-access English learning centre was promoted by the members of the club.

The design and technology club displayed a wide range of fashionable accessories. The art and design club drew countless visitors by demonstrating the making of traditional Chinese-style seals, portraits and cartoon drawings.

Making recycled paper at the geography and environmental protection club counter aimed to heighten students' awareness of protecting nature. Students involved in a Singapore- Hong Kong exchange programme offered brain-teasing games.

Other clubs which attracted visitors included the sex and health education, and the community youth clubs. Students of the home economics group prepared snacks and served guests.
