Safety fear

I travel through the Western Harbour Tunnel daily.

In recent weeks there have been police speed cameras placed in the emergency exit doors between the north and southbound tunnels with these doors being wedged open.

It would appear that this is jeopardising the safety of the tunnel users by compromising the fire compartmentalisation of the two separate tunnels.

Would the Western Harbour Tunnel Company or the Hong Kong Police Force care to comment and explain their actions?
