Two held as vehicle parts seized on ship

Customs officers made a record seizure of dismantled bulldozers and vehicle parts worth $5 million on board a mainland vessel leaving for Fuzhou in Fujian province.


The ship's master, 44, and a crew member, 20, were arrested. Officers boarded the vessel after intercepting it off Chai Wan and found 10 dismantled bulldozers and vehicle parts. The two will appear in Eastern Court today.
